Artist Statement

 

My work explores my love of the landscape, local history and leads me to visit interesting decaying buildings, these appeal both to my photographer’s eye and my intellect..

 

 

I consider myself incredibly lucky to live in the North  Yorkshire with it's rich industrial heritage, and diverse and breathtaking landscape from its craggy hills and wild upland moors, to ancient gnarled woodlands to its rugged coasts and long sandy beaches.

When I'm not busy taking photos I also love to paint, dance, make clothing and jewellery.
